Harvest Moon REgatta 2008

This year Bob crewed for Glen Woods on his Pearson 53. The wind blew on the beam all race at 15-20 knots. We averaged 10 knots and finished at 9;15am Friday. The boat won its fleet and finished 4 th overall out of approx 95 boats. Also crewing was Jerry Carter, Anthony Jaccuzi, and Andrew Bean all from Little Rock Arkansas.Anita came down and was our land team. After a fun weekend Anita and I headed back on Sunday, we had some car trouble on 35 south near West Columbia and had to spend the night before being able to resume our trip home on Monday.

Harvest Moon Regatta 2006

These are some photos from our first Harvest Moon Regatta, its a offshore race for just off Galveston Island down to Port Aransas Tx a distance of 150 nautical miles. We did the race in our Hunter 40.5 Forty Love. We had a great time and actually won our class and place 2nd overall out of about 150 boats.
